 We are delighted to announce that from July 20^th 2022 our membership is free to anyone over 18 years of age.

Membership gets you the right to vote at the AGM (After 12 months membership)  

 Be the first to be notified of coming events, opp shop sales and receive our newsletter.

We also have a Members Monthly Prize Draw for a $100 IGA Voucher!

• collect an Application Form at the Op Shop (You can complete it there and then)

Volunteers

MVCA Inc. supports and values our volunteer team, by a demonstrated appreciation of their skills and talents.   We have a team of very talented and skilled volunteers, who give their time assisting their community in the following Volunteer Positions:

• Administration
• Op Shop
• Events

We hold two volunteer lunches per year to show appreciation to our volunteers, and hold regular meetings to listen to their ideas and plan for the long term future of the Centre.  A special Volunteer Christmas Party is held annually in December at a Sunshine Coast venue.

Everyone’s opinions are very important to the organisation and we take on board all suggestions. The volunteers at our Centre form lasting friendships and social networks with other groups and residents.  Volunteering can assist in alleviating social isolation & loneliness, especially for older residents.

We encourage fun and laughter. The skillset of each Volunteer is appreciated and utilised, making people feel appreciated and valued as members of their community.
